King Rice Oil Group Receives 3Rs Awards and Zero Waste Achievement Awards from the Department of Industrial Works

On July 13, Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd. (Pu Chao Branch) received the 3Rs Awards and Zero Waste Achievement Awards under the Industrial Waste Management Efficiency Enhancement Project Towards Zero Waste to Landfill, organized by the Department of Industrial Works. The awards were presented by Mr. Teeratas Israngkura Na Ayudhya (center), Deputy Director General of the Department of Industrial Works, to Mr. Vitiwat Piyapatcharakulawut (left), Factory Manager, and Ms. Orapan Usapein (right), Refinery Production Manager, representing the company. The award ceremony was held at Thewakam Rangrak Hall, 2nd Floor, Royal Thai Army Club (Vibhavadi), Bangkok.

The awards recognize factories and businesses that effectively manage waste generated from their production processes in accordance with the 3Rs principles to minimize or eliminate industrial waste sent to landfill, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
